I grew up in Shepherd's Bush — one of West London's most characterful and historically rich neighbourhoods — and have spent most of my life exploring the city around me. I know London not as a collection of landmarks but as a living, layered place full of stories hiding in plain sight. Before guiding, I trained as an actor at drama school in Oxford. That training informs everything about the way I lead a tour. A good tour is just good storytelling on a different kind of stage. My London passions include: - The City of London — that ancient, densely layered square mile - the original city where Roman foundations sit beneath medieval churches, Georgian counting houses, and glass towers. I find it genuinely thrilling every single time. - The history of Reggae and Punk music's bond during the 70s - I am a massive Reggae and Punk fan. I grew up in Shepherd's Bush where The Clash was arguably born. I went to school in Notting Hill, where reggae and punk became one. - The darker side of London - London is full of horrible history. We all love a bit of the macabre. Myself included!
